Homemade Natural Coat Freshener for Dogs

Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add the rosemary leaves, mint leaves and 1/2 teaspoon of the apple cider vinegar. Boil for two minutes and remove from the heat. Cover and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes.

Pour the hot liquid into the bowl using a strainer to catch the herbs, which you can discard. Let the mixture cool completely. Add the rest of the water, vinegar, vegetable and glycerin and mix until well incorporated.

Pour the spritz liquid into the spray bottle. Shake well before each use. Pour the rest of the spritz into the refill container, seal tightly and store in a dark place.

Spray the freshening spritz over your dog’s body, avoiding the head area. Rub it gently but thoroughly into her coat. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rub your dog dry with a towel.
